I sing classic, easy listening jazz, pop and soft rock standards old and new to include songs from Anita Baker, Karen Souza, Sade, Celine Dion, Billie Holiday, Renee Olstead, Luther Vandross, Tina Turner and many more and I can sing more up tempo: Soul, Motown, R&B , contemporary Pop and Rock classics once your partly gets going.
I am just as comfortable performing as a solist using backing tracks or as a duo with an accompanist pianist or guitarist; or with a live full four piece band of Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys as required. My mission statement is to bring uplifting and and inspiring music to your event and make it something really memorable and special for you. I have a lot of fun performing and have many years of experience from singing regularly in The Savoy Hotel and London Hotel circuit, to singing in Germany, Switzerland and Sweden, to performing in America and South East Asia. My musicians and I bring a profoud love of the music and an infectious enthusiasm that will light up your event.

Biographies
Lorrayn de Peyer
I have a wealth of experience behind me with many years performing in leading London venues and internationally.
In London I have enjoyed long term residencies at major London hotels notably The Savoy Hotel London and London Hilton Hotels. I have also appeared at many other prestigious well known venues including Inn on The Park at Hyde Park, The Barbican and The PizzaExpress Jazz Club in Soho.
I am used to touring and have appeared in America, Europe and South East Asia . I studied music at Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
I am very fortunate to bring in other singers to sing with me and currently I am delighted to have Ian Raines singing with the live band when we duo.
Ian Raines
Ian Raines is an experienced singer whose professional career has seen him record and perform everything from pop, rock, jazz and soul to gentle ballads. To date, he has appeared on six UK recorded albums and seven UK hit singles after having been discovered by pop writer legend Geoff Morrow whilst recording the vocal for a commercial.
One of his first gigs was as a backing vocalist for Sandy Shaw and also Zaine Griff. He has duetted with Stephanie Lawrence and appeared at the Jazz Cafe, The Rainbow in Finsbury Park and The Marquee Club in Soho and has been lead singer with has a single currently out with rock band Rococo. In addition to being an accomplished vocalist he also plays guitar (six string & bass) and saxophone.
Ian and I have been performing together for two years now. We met when Ian joined one of the local choirs over which I was the Musical Director. On hearing Ian sing a solo I was so blown away that I asked him to join Dark Sparkle Live Band with me. We have never looked back and i feel very lucky to have such a talented singer with me.
